About us
Particle measuring technology is used to control cleanliness of liquids and to identify quality deficiencies and excessive wear in order to avoid eventual costly machine failures. PAMAS particle counters measure solid particulate contamination of liquids and control the efficiency of filters and the cleanliness of liquids.
PAMAS offers a range of bench top particle counters for various applications and sample fluid types. The PAMAS S70 is the new standard model for pharmaceutical particle analysis, icluding parenterals and ophthalmic solutions. Its operational software complies to 21 CFR part 11 and inlcudes common pharmacopoeian test methods. PAMAS SBSS was designed for highly viscous and volatile sample fluids and is mainly being used in petrochemical labs. A pressurized sampling procedure avoides the formation of air bubbles during analysis. Its sister model PAMAS SBSS Small Volume is the instrument in the market to analyse small volume samples of highly viscous fluids and there mainly is used for therapeutic protein injections accoring to USP <787>. PAMAS AS3 is an automated particle counter for unattended analysis of up to 600 samples per day. PAMAS FastPatch 2Go is a automatic microscopic system which isn’t only counting and sizing but also imaging each particle cotained in the sample fluid.

Automatic particle counters (APC's) are mainly used within the O&G Sector for the following applications:
For the analysis of water based fluids in hydraulic systems including:
Subsea Christmas Trees, BOP's, Flushing rigs, Wellhead Assemblies, Hydraulic Power Units, Hydraulic Accumulators, Subsea Umbilicals including corrosion/scale/ wax inhibitors, Hydraulic Valves, Control Panels etc.)
For the analysis of injection water (Sea Water) used in Secondary Oil Recovery.
For these applications, there are automatic particle counters available for both laboratory and field environments. Also inline for calibrated, traceable condition monitoring. All PAMAS instruments are designed for easy-to-use sampling.

Laboratory particle counter for aqueous fluids with precise flow control for contamination monitoring and component cleanliness control
The PAMAS S70 Particle Counter creates a new level of excellence in pharmaceutical particle analysis.
Featuring state-of-the-art technology including 4,096 size channels, the PAMAS S70 raises the benchmark for precise measurement in the exceptionally high, strictly regulated quality standards of the pharma industry.
The 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software is operated via the 12” touchscreen interface enabling efficient and secure measurements without the need for an external PC.
Equipped with an integrated laminar flow cabinet and HEPA filter, the PAMAS S70 maintains a clean environment and simplifies sample handling for accurate results.
The system can be used with different light extinction sensors. The standard sensor PAMAS HCB-LD-50/50 is equipped with a flow-rate of 10 ml/min and a size range of 1 to 200 µm.
PAMAS SBSS
The PAMAS SBSS is a particle counting system for batch sampling. The PAMAS SBSS is the standard instrument used as a reference in many testing labs. The instrument may be programmed to measure a sample without the need of an operator, like pre-filling the internal dead volume, degassing the sample with vacuum, pressurising the sample for a number of measurement runs, and relieving pressure at the end. High accuracy and repeatability, fast purging and back flush possibility are the key benefits of the system.
