As a manufacturer of high-quality filter media, Hahnemühle uses its know-how to develop innovative filtration solutions in the field of life sciences with a focus on diagnostics, pharmacy, medicine, agricultural technology and nutrition. Hahnemühle's filter papers are established globally as sophisticated consumables, used in automatic measurement and production systems as well as in the life sciences and quality control sectors.
Due to the compact company structure, Hahnemühle can react quickly and flexibly to different framework conditions.
More than 150 different filter papers made of linters, cellulose and glass fibers are manufactured in the production plant in Dassel.
The company's goal is to strengthen its competence as a leading manufacturer of high-performance filter media in the biotechnology and laboratory sectors.

Hahnemühle Life Science has taken a groundbreaking step by investing in a state-of-the-art core production line, that heralds a new era in core production thanks to self-sufficient, self-controlling and self-correcting robotics.
This facility represents a step forward in terms of efficiency and precision and strengthens Hahnemühle's market position in the Life Science sector and Germany as an engineering technology leader.
The new production facility is equipped with advanced technology that enables real-time monitoring, optimization and adjustment of production processes. It continuously collects and analyses data from various measurement areas to ensure that production runs smoothly and meets the highest quality standards. It is possible to react quickly to changing conditions and minimise downtime by automatically adjusting parameters.
