About us
ECH is an independent enterprise founded in 1992. The objects of the company are the development, manufacturing and marketing of analytical devices and measuring methods to analyze gas, water, industrial and municipal waste water and technical products, e. g. oil and gas.
The development of devices and methods has been successfully established on the national and international market for more than 30 years.
Important fields of applications are:
- Laboratory analysis
- Factory- and process analysis for technical control
- On-site mobile analysis and on-line instruments
We are able to comprehend customers’ specific problems and enquiries due to our own development of hardware and software.
We response enquiries in the areas of development of new analytical measuring methods and application of measuring devices to control complex and technical industrial facilities, e. g. the controlling of waste water treatment plants or the monitoring of chemical, petrochemical and bioengineered processes.

Karl Fischer Titrators AQUA 40.00 and Aquamax for determination of water content in solids, liquids and gases
LPG/LNG Analyzer
H2S Analyzer for water/waste water, petrochemical products and gases
NH3 Analyzer for water/waste water and gases
Gas sensors
Portable gas chromatograph MobilGC
Biogas Analyzer
Sn-Layer - Analyzer for determination of the thickness of the nonalloyed and alloyed tin layer on copper wires
Karl Fischer Titrator AQUA 40.00 Vario for water determination in all types of samples
No sample preparation is required.
The closed loop carrier gas circulation is the unique advantage of the system. No additional gas drying is necessary. The carrier gas titrates dry continually within the closed loop.
The manual version can be easily extended to the fully automated version with auto sampler suitable for vial sizes 2 R to 50 R.
Sulfimax GX Lab for determination of hydrogen sulphides in liquids and gases
Sulfimax GX Lab determines H2S and volatile sulphides in liquids and gases.
The sample can be dosed directly without pretreatment - manually by syringe or in the automatic version by autosampler.
By effective gas extraction the H2S is completely expelled from the sample. Interferences due to the sample matrix practically do not occur.
The highly sensitive sensor of the analyzer detects H2S in the range of 0.01 to 10,000 ppm. A typical measurement takes 5 min, depending on the sample composition.
Karl Fischer Titrator Aquamax KF PRO LPG for water determination in gases
The Aquamax KF PRO LPG measures the water content in liquefied and gaseous samples such as LPG and LNG according to ASTM D 7995 in the ppm range.
The sulphur removal cartridge eliminates the side reactions caused by sulphides/H2S. Our sample loop principle allows you to fully automate the measurements, up to 125 per day!
Use the instrument in your laboratory with full automation, as a portable/field use analyzer or integrate it into your process as an on-line system.
Karl Fischer Titrator Aquamax KF Online for online water determination in petroleum products
The Aquamax KF Online is based on the Karl Fischer titration according to ASTM D 6304, procedure C (oven method). The sample is taken regularly from the running process and dosed contamination-free into the extraction chamber. Only the water content is transported into the titration cell, so that reagent lifetimes of more than 2000 measurements can be achieved. The measuring principle allows precise determinations in the trace range with high detection sensitivity.
Karl Fischer Titrator Aquamax KF PRO Oil Automatic for high throughput water determination in oils, lubricants and fuels
The Aquamax KF PRO Oil Automatic is the perfect instrument to measure ppm water in oils and fuels according to ASTM D 6304, procedure C (oven method) without the worry of interference side reactions caused by additives or sulphur/mercaptans. The sampler of this automatic version has space for 200 sample syringes with 5 mL in five magazines. An integrated scale determines exactly the sample amount. The unique “closed loop” principle eliminates the need for an additional carrier gas.
